Dr. Masashige Kuwayama has an extensive medical career. Known as the “Father of Vitrification”, his research has helped establish bases in assisted human reproduction.
In 1999 he invented the Cryotop vitrification method for human oocytes, creating the first bank in 2001.
The first babies born from vitrified ovules in 2000 in the US and Japan, were achieved thanks to the Cryotop method.
